Community Bookshelf
The Community Bookshelf is a simple but meaningful way to share the joy of reading with others. Located inside the Havre Boucher & District Community Centre, the bookshelf is stocked with books generously donated by community members and visitors who wish to share their love of reading.
Everyone is welcome to browse, borrow, and enjoy a book. If you have books at home that you've finished reading, we invite you to leave them on the shelf for others to discover. There is no cost, no membership, and no sign-out process—just a shared appreciation for stories, learning, and community.
Whether you're searching for your next great novel, a children's story, a cookbook, or simply something new to explore, we encourage you to take a book, leave a book, and help keep the bookshelf growing for everyone to enjoy.
The Community Bookshelf reflects the spirit of our communities, sharing resources, connecting with one another, and creating opportunities for discovery through reading.
"A book is a gift you can open again and again."
— Garrison Keillor
